VR gaming venue on the Las Vegas Strip with neon-lit corridor

Most visitors to Las Vegas stay on or near the Strip, and VR gaming is scattered across several locations — some walkable from your hotel, others requiring a short rideshare. This guide groups every VR venue by proximity so you can find the closest experience to where you're staying.

On the Las Vegas Strip

These venues are directly on Las Vegas Boulevard. You can walk to them from any Strip hotel.

VR Adventures at The LINQ

Located on The LINQ Promenade between The LINQ Hotel and the High Roller. Walk-in VR motion-simulator rides starting at $5–15. No booking needed. Central Strip location makes this the easiest VR stop in town — perfect if you're staying at The LINQ, Flamingo, Harrah's, or The Cromwell.

Sandbox VR at The Venetian

Inside The Venetian's Grand Canal Shoppes on the north-central Strip. Premium full-body VR at ~$65/person. Book ahead — this location fills up fast. Convenient if you're staying at The Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, or Encore.

Sandbox VR at Miracle Mile Shops

Inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, right on the central Strip. Same Sandbox VR experience as The Venetian location at ~$65/person. Great option if you're staying at Planet Hollywood, Paris, Bally's, or the Cosmopolitan.

X World 360 at Planet Hollywood

Also inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. Walk-in VR motion-simulator rides at ~$5–15. Central Strip location, open early (9 AM) and late (past midnight). Easy to combine with Sandbox VR Miracle Mile if you want both a quick ride and a premium experience in the same shopping complex.

X World 360 at Excalibur

Inside the Excalibur Hotel on the south Strip, near the Luxor and Mandalay Bay. Walk-in VR rides at ~$5–15 each. Good for families already visiting the Castle Walk shops or heading to the Tournament of Kings.

Zero Latency at MGM Grand

Inside MGM Grand on the south Strip. Free-roam VR arena for up to 8 players at ~$50/person. Book ahead. Easily walkable from Excalibur, New York-New York, Tropicana, and Park MGM via the pedestrian bridges.

Level UP at MGM Grand

Also inside MGM Grand, on the casino floor. VR gaming lounge and bar (~$50/person). Walk-in friendly. Best as a 21+ after-dinner activity — pair it with dinner at one of MGM Grand's restaurants.

Steps from the Strip

These are within a 5–10 minute walk of Las Vegas Boulevard.

X World 360 on Fremont Street

Downtown Las Vegas on the Fremont Street Experience — about 10 minutes by car from the Strip. Walk-in VR rides at ~$5–15. Perfect add-on if you're already exploring downtown, Fremont Street, or the Arts District.

Short Ride from the Strip (5–10 min)

These venues require a quick Uber/Lyft or taxi, but they're worth the trip.

AREA15

On Rancho Drive, about 5 minutes west of the Strip by car. A full immersive entertainment complex with VR, interactive art, and dozens of attractions ($6–69 each). Free entry to explore — you only pay for the experiences you choose. Budget 2–3 hours. Rideshare runs about $8–12 from most Strip hotels.

Velocity Esports

At Town Square Las Vegas, about 10 minutes south of the central Strip by car. VR gaming, racing simulators, esports stations, axe throwing, a bar, and a restaurant. Great for groups and parties. Rideshare is typically $10–15 from mid-Strip hotels.

Tips for Getting Around

  1. Walk when you can. Six of the ten venues are directly on the Strip. If you're staying at a Strip hotel, you can reach at least a few of them on foot.
  2. Use the pedestrian bridges. The bridges connecting Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, and New York-New York make it easy to hop between south Strip venues without crossing traffic.
  3. Rideshare for AREA15 and Velocity. Both are a short, cheap Uber/Lyft from the Strip. AREA15 in particular is worth the trip — it's an entire entertainment complex.
  4. Combine nearby venues. Staying at MGM Grand? Hit Zero Latency and Level UP in the same visit. On the central Strip? Walk from VR Adventures to Sandbox VR at Miracle Mile in under 10 minutes.
  5. Book premium venues ahead. Walk-in spots (VR Adventures, X World 360) don't need reservations. But Sandbox VR and Zero Latency fill up — book 2–3 days in advance, especially for weekends.

The Bottom Line

No matter where you're staying on the Strip, there's a VR experience within walking distance. The central Strip has the highest concentration — VR Adventures, Sandbox VR (two locations), and X World 360 at Excalibur are all easily accessible. For the most variety in one trip, take a quick rideshare to AREA15 or Velocity Esports. For the full rundown on every venue, check out our complete VR gaming guide.
